Help with back pain

The range of seating furniture with its promising health benefits is now very large, if not slightly unmanageable. The AGR generally makes recommendations for seating furniture that fulfils the requirements for back-friendly sitting. As user needs, duration of use and individual well-being are important selection parameters, we divide our seating recommendations into different categories, which we will discuss below.
When selecting the right chair, it therefore depends on where it is to be used. It's important not to have a sitting marathon. Therefore, organise your workplace in such a way that you can integrate as much movement as possible into your working day.
Increasingly more employees spend their day at an office workplace and far more than half of the employees sit on work chairs that are consistent with an outdated ergonomic way of thinking. The natural need for intuitive sitting position changes is more or less prevented on such chairs. This development does not remain without consequences. As the monotonous sitting working position strains our back and is regarded as being one of the main causes for tension and back pain. Therefore, it is all the more important that office furniture brings movement to the everyday working life.
The offering of sitting furniture with promising health benefits is meanwhile very large, if not even somewhat unmanageable. The AGR principally gives recommendations for sitting furniture that does justice to the requirements for back friendly sitting. As the user requirements, usage duration and individual well-being represent important selection parameters we classify our sitting furniture recommendations into different categories, which we will address in the following:
With the selection of the appropriate chair it therefore depends on where it is to be used. It is important that no sitting marathon should take place. Therefore organise your workplace so that you can integrate as much movement as possible into the everyday working life.
Senior executives in many companies would like to make meetings more efficient and enhance the intellectual performance of their staff. However, whether this succeeds or not depends on more than just a clear meeting structure and good moderation. The way the conference room is furnished also plays a crucial role. Current data on the health problems involved with office work indicate the need for conference and meeting workplaces to permit one thing above all others: back-friendly behaviour and plenty of incentives to keep moving around. This can help to prevent backache and enhance intellectual performance levels.
Essential factors in making the office workplace back-friendly include good chairs and a desk that can be adjusted in height. Corresponding attention also has to be paid to other workplace elements. Standing desks, document holders and ergonomic desk lamps are just as important in preventing cramped positions as computer input devices (keyboard, mouse, etc.). Excellent ergonomic solutions are available in all these areas for relieving the physical loads on office workers, thus bringing about clear reductions in pain and in the number of days absent from work.
Especially craftsmen, who work with full physical effort every day and rely on high physical performance, must reduce stress. But that is not easy at work or on the construction site. The crucial point is the back. Heavy loads, poor posture and unilateral burden may have negative influence on the spine and lead to complaints.
Hence, to all craft occupational groups applies the same: To do something good for your back, please pay attention to back-friendly working tools. Needless to say, that this also applies to do-it-yourselfers (DIY). Especially for them the unusual stresses and strains associated with non-ergonomic tools can take their toll.
Bending, kneeling, lifting - industrial cleaning staff must be physically active at work. Consequently, one of the most common reasons for sick leave due to illness are diseases of the musculoskeletal system. In order to avoid these work-related illnesses, doctors and therapists recommend cleaning tools and machines that support the user in his physical work in the best possible way.
