Certified specialist shops
for back-friendly advice

Expertise and trust in certified specialist shops

Superficial knowledge and a purely sales-oriented approach have no place in a specialist shop. Expert advice, particularly when it comes to back health, must be tailored to the customer’s individual needs. That’s why you should put your trust in trained staff at AGR-certified specialist shops!
Here you’ll receive expert advice for your back – from staff who are regularly trained and accredited by Aktion Gesunder Rücken e. V.

Your benefits at AGR-certified specialist shops

Certified specialist shops are selected retailers whose staff have been regularly trained by Aktion Gesunder Rücken e. V. and who offer expert advice on back-friendly products.

  • Thanks to regular training courses, certified specialist dealers offer in-depth knowledge instead of sales phrases.
  • Aktion Gesunder Rücken (AGR) e. V. provides essential knowledge about the health background of the products and thus significantly expands expertise.
  • Trained consultants understand the anatomy of the spine, the structure and interaction of the muscles and ergonomic principles - for advice that really helps.
  • You will find back-friendly products in over 400 certified specialist shops and benefit from many years of consulting experience.

Why expert advice is crucial

Again and again, test purchases reveal considerable deficits in the quality of advice provided by specialist retailers. The choice of back-friendly everyday products is particularly critical: Customers are often confronted with half-knowledge, misleading information and an unmanageable variety of products.

Aktion Gesunder Rücken (AGR) e. V. has therefore set itself the task of counteracting this development. Specially selected specialist dealers receive intensive training from AGR. Basic medical and anatomical knowledge is taught, including the function and statics of the spine, the nutrition of the intervertebral discs and the structure and tasks of the muscles. In addition, the interaction of muscles, tendons and ligaments, as well as ergonomic concepts from a multidisciplinary medical perspective, are regularly trained and reviewed. The aim is to reduce technical deficits in consulting and to minimise the influence of manufacturer interests and pure sales pressure.

Only specialist shops that successfully complete the demanding AGR training process can call themselves "AGR-certified specialist shops". Customers can rely on competent, well-founded and independent advice here
